Albemarle baseball keeps building momentum. The Patriots edged out Brooke Point Tuesday night, picking up a 4-2 win.
Joe Burris did much of the heavy lifting with a complete game on the mound and a double and an RBI at the plate. Burris struck out eight in the complete game victory.
Richie Deloria had a strong night too, going 2 for 3 with a pair of RBI. Justin Vestal rounded out the offensive performance with a single and an RBI for the Patriots.
Albemarle is now 7-1 (6-1 in district) and hits the road to take on Stafford Wednesday.
