Buckingham boys blowout Central Lunenburg

Buckingham’s emerging standout Timmy Randolph put together a double double Wednesday night as the Knights’ rolled 71-38 over Central Lunenburg.

The victory moves Buckingham to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the James River District.

Randolph poured in 16 points and hauled in 10 rebounds. Tarian Ayers and Tariq Bartee also got into double figures. Ayers had 13 points while Bartee finished with 14. Bartee was also strong on the boards with eight rebounds while Ayers dished out five assists and committed just a single turnover.

The Knights did a good job moving the ball, posting assists on 20 of their 31 shots.

Buckingham faces Cumberland Friday night at 7:30.
