Taking a reprieve from his duties on the Fluvanna Post 2003 American Legion baseball team, Ryan Foster earned a spot on the VHSCA baseball team. So too did Goochland’s Ben Verlander.
The Fluvanna County senior earned a spot on the East squad as a shortstop. Verlander, who was drafted by the Detroit Tigers last month picked up a spot as a pitcher, also for the East.
