Western Albemarle picked up its first Jefferson District win of the season on Thursday night. The Warriors took down visiting Charlottesville in three straight game, 25-19, 25-12, 25-10.
Laura Bergin led the Western offense with a team best 11 kills. Maggie Kooken also had a productive night by finishing with nine kills and six aces. Libero Marin Crowder tallied seven digs. Marina Clark had four digs and 10 assists.
Western travels to Louisa on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
